Wander — that word resonated with us as we started this journey of pursuing an RV lifestyle.
The definition that stuck is: Wander – verb: to wind with gentle twists and turns in a particular direction; move or travel slowly through or over.
This describes our emotional and physical process of considering this course for our life. It also describes the way we want to go about our lives.
We are Bryan and Luann Street. We desire to help other Rv’ers learn about new things that will make their transition to full time RV living easier and more satisfactory. We love to spend time in our RV and ride our bikes everywhere! We desire to go on the road full time before we are retirement age and be successful at it!
We currently reside in Asheville NC. We love living here! But we know there are many other beautiful places in the USA that call to us and we want to experience.
Luann has always been an ‘information gatherer’ extraordinaire. She loves to research and is often able to find things and ideas others pass over. This blog will chronicle many things. Luann thoroughly enjoys reading about others who go before us blazing this trail of RV living. She hopes to inspire, educate and inform others on their similar journeys to this decision. She will let you in on cool finds to make things easier, ways we have found to make money on the road and grand discoveries in travel.
Bryan is amazing in his mechanical skills. He will share knowledge on RV repair and troubleshooting along with various things that he has learned the hard way.
We bought our first motor home in 2013 on whim. As we rolled into Camping World to ‘just look’, we thought maybe a class C was where it was at. Then we found a used class A and knew we could never afford it. We picked it up later that week and drove all the way to Myrtle Beach (that is a story for another time) as our FIRST RV experience! I am not sure if I recommend this way of starting this journey but it has worked out for us and 3 years later we are willing to give up our jobs (when the time is right) and do this thing! (Full-time RV, that is!)
